No this one was built in the early 80's I believe....got it from the original owner a few years back....Finally built it up and I'm too cramped ......I need a 57 and this is a 55 cm.....My mistake...fell in love and well I'm sure I'm not the only one here who has done this:lol:

How about a longer seat post and stem? It's just 2 inches :)

I've seen complete bikes go for $600 - $1500 (these early versions). How about some pics?

Bruce Gordon (http://bgcycles.com/) is probably the closest thing to a constructeur (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ratrocket/sets/72157622335870141/) we have in North America and his bikes justifiably command high prices.
He's still in business; why not have him build you a new bike -- one that fits you?

Yeah, I have seen some of his bikes on the CR list. Really nice looking stuff, I heard someone refer to him as cranky in a recent conversation. One that sticks out in my mind had a custom matching stem and loads of titanium bits.

Well.... is it true... is he cranky? Ha, I think the man who said that to me was referring to CR list conversations. We were talking about touring bikes and he came up, his bikes look spectacular.

Ive heard he can be a bit cranky, but who cant be?
He can be found sitting most days sitting outside the local brewery...I'd buy him a pint before trying to engage in a conversation with him, : ) ...
Hes patient and helpful with the younger folks around here, he generously let my friend borrow a crank puller for TA for a few days and totally didnt sweat it.
He is a legend, Id buy one of his frames in a heartbeat, if you have the opportunity youd be a fool not to pounce.
