Trying to bring some normailty to riding in the UK.
Cumbria has had it hard as most of you can see on the TV but I bet that other parts of britain are getting it hard aswell. Here in the south-we have had a lot of rain. Plenty of local flooding but there is going to be an aftermath to this. A local Village called Alfriston flooded this week. Roads are now passable but only for cars. Had to drive through the area today and it is going to take a while before the roads are clear of mud and debris. Any of the exits off the Downs are dangerous with plenty of scree and rubble and this is spilling over onto the roads. It is going to take a while before the detritus is cleared so any of you riding the Eastern end of the South Downs or on back roads had better take care.
And if it starts raining again while you are out in Sussex- get to high ground quick. The water table is so high-it won't take much more rain to cause flooding again.
