Foo - Everyone post their Christmas Tree

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I don't have mine up yet, but here is Siu's.

The reason she went with a live tree with the bells was so her one cat wouldn't knock it down. She puts the tree outside when she isn't home.

Dan had to post it since I can't find my camera or cell phone cords. I must admit that using bells as ornaments defeated the purpose. But I did get a Blue Spruce!
When it grows up it should look like this the two on the left. The one on the right is a Fat Albert blue:

It has a natural cone shape so it doesn't have to be shaped by trimmer.

My Christmas tree:

I sewed felt squares together, sewed on some bells and pinned the ornaments on the Pin-Up Tree. I have very little open space in my apartment but plenty of blank walls so I figured I'd have a pin-up tree instead. Every year I add a couple of new ornaments. The nice thing about my Pin-Up Tree is at the end of the Christmas Season I can roll it up and store it until the next year.

Thank you, Siu. My mom calls the tree "The Desperation Tree". Me and the tree ignore her (unless she's holding a box of chocolates).

That tree is special because it's what you made with what you have and what is in your heart. It's representative of YOU. It's awesome! :thumb:

No Christmas tree here. My wife says it's just a mess for her to clean up. AND its an artificial one. I put up a little one in my office instead.

And now, let's all list the ways in which MV has disappointed us this year!
He apparently hasn't added the stripper in a Mrs. Claus outfit yet. Give it time. I have faith.

Let's keep the posts here tree-related. Religious posts need to go in P&R.

Still bigger than mine. I had to put mine outside last night so Sakima wouldn't tear it up. Blue Spruce is supposed to be deer proof but it's not Sakima proof.

I don't think there's enough storage space on the server for that to happen.

It was a buck, and now I'll have 5 trees for to bonsai... :) It just happened to be marketed as a christmas tree. That's how much I hate christmas, I'll even take advantage of things like this.

We may skip the tree this year; 800 sq. ft. house (nowhere to put it) and a 16-month old running around (can't really baby-proof a tree other than keeping it in the box in the basement).
The way I figger it, Tom's "Red light district" tree and MV's "stripper pole" tree ought to tempt sanity clause to drop off some carbon products at the appropriate stockings.
