My across the street neighbor is so upset that his next door neighbor and co keeps urinating on his bushes. There are so many people coming in and out of that house that we are not sure who really lives there anymore. Granted he's called the police several times, it's usually done and over with by the time they arrive. He's tried talking to them but to no avail. So he installed one camera already aiming at the bush and by next week he's going to install four more.

Then he's going to post it on you tube, send a copy of it to the police dept and tell all the other neighbors to watch it.

This is gonna be funny.

mmmmmm... that sounds sad and pathetic... but then again i have my own neighbor problems. I haven't slept in 2 months because of my neighbor (she either has dementia, alzheimers or is drunk or all 3). She wakes me all hours of the night. Her activities leave me to believe she will be the death of us all. last week she built a bonfire outside her apartment (during Santa Ana winds and Red Flag warning) . Afterwards the fireman who interviewed me (I saw the fire first and ran to get help) told me to slept lightly and keep my eyes and ears open. No problem Mr. Fireman... crazy neighbor makes sure of that!

Edited to add: Thankfully the fire incident was so bad, the apartment owner gave the woman an eviction notice... of course, she doesn't know what it is so we will see if she moves.

Oh so they DID give her an eviction notice?? I was wondering what ever happened there. What do her kids have to say about it? Do they know?

This has been going on for a couple of years. His bush is mostly dead now and he said he caught one guy early this morning open the door to his car during warm up, stepped out and just went right there in the middle of the street. Too many people living in that house and both living rooms have been converted to bedrooms with bunk beds. He said you can see it when they open their curtains. I never really paid attention to them, I just do my own thing as long as they leave my house alone.

Sui's neighbor is much nicer then I would have been. Can you say electric fence running through the bushes? That'd be entertaining and they wouldn't come back.

It is time for an airgun sniper in the trees somewhere, or an automatic motion-sensor sprinkler or something.

I'd setup some sprinklers and hit the water at the appropriate time.

Seems your neighbor needs a still camera, and more police/residency complaints.

He's done that and got in trouble for it....

He's called so much the police are tired of him and actually gave the excuse "Well maybe that's what they do where they come from". He's also called code enforcement because they are building another room independent of the house and it's about 6 inches from the fence and I guess by code it has to be 3 or 5 feet from the fence. So now they are mad at him because they have to move it.. They already laid the foundation and the studs.

He's also trapped the dogs and cats that they let run loose and it costs them $250 per animal to get them out of hock. They only went back for one, the one that just had puppies.

.

My neighbor is a sad story - I and several other neighbors have calle adult protective services and made reports. You see she has money, alot of money. But she is "crazy" senile whatever. Her daughter has chrge of her bank account. The daughter moves this woman from complex to complex when she gets evicted. We found out she has already been evicted from several other local complexes. I don't want that to happen again. I want her to get the proper care she needs since obviously she cannot live independently alone. She ruined the apartment she is in - it will have to be gutted. All the neighbors live in fear she wil set another fire and burn us out. Anyway I could go on. The owner had to give her notice (he didn't want to becuase there is a high vacancy rate and at least her rent is paid monthly) because all the neighbors gave him notice if something happens he would be held responsible. Plus she set a fire, plus she drives us crazy and is cuckoo!

Very sad though - her daughter is a creep.

Clearly, the amperage wasn't enough....there should be no evidence left, except for a couple burnt areas in the grass, easily hidden with roundup. :innocent:

We were lucky, the police\INS hauled away half the people in out neighborhood "problem house." Then the bank repo'd the house. It took six months, but they finally got the rest of the crew out by turning off the utilities. It was June in Vegas, can you say 118 degree highs. The house was demolished. Finally a nice older couple from San Diego bought two weeks ago. Hopefully good things are coming to your neighborhoods andyou will be sleeping better, all of you.

And all I have to worry about is the loud Filipino family next door. Yelling seems to be their regular mode of communication.

We used to live across the street from this cranky old guy w/ an amazingly manicured front lawn. You could shave w/ the edge of his lawn. The shrubs were coiffed into perfect spheres. If anybody parked in front of his house, he'd put his sprinkler out on the car. It made his month when somebody would park a ragtop open w/in sprinkler range.

I have no doubt his shrubs were electrified.

I was thinking the same thing.

Her daughter can be arrested and/or sued by the city in some areas.

If I had a filipino family next door to me, I would just put up with their loudness for a plate of pancit.

Bribery would get them everywhere. My wife and I love the stuff.

Just wait till they start cooking that rotten rice/rotten shrimp(?) sauce, the stench of that will make you pray for death, or a headcold. :D

Sort of on topic... but...

We have this absolutely massive vine with blue flowers growing up the guide wires of our communication tower (21 meters) Incredibly proflic, much better than any other vine of the same type in the property. Everyone comments on how huge it is and beautiful the flowers. For a while I couldn't figure out why this one was so much better than any of the other ones...

Well, eventually I noticed our dog Silky using it for a fire hydrant, if you know what I mean.

Now it is called Silky's vine...

A buddy of mine in PA used to argue endlessly with his neighbors. They hated each other. Anyways, he's out in his shop working, and he sees the bush on his side of the fence shaking. So he walks out and sees his neighbor's wife's hand reaching under the fence, hacking at the bush on his side. Her mistake though was he could also see her foot under the fence a bit. So he whipped it out and peed on her foot.

It always amazes me at the depths of patheticism ( I made that one up) that neighbors go to too annoy each other...

We have a very scary juco college calculus instructor that lives next door. The woman is VERY arrogant, doesn't really want the two delightful little girls she has - and is po'ed that she can't afford to live in the 'better' part of East Sacramento (they have a topsy turvy house - owe more than the house is worth). She is always putting down the neighbors, her husband is totally whipped - just unpleasant, unfriendly people - unless they want something.

We are kind to her older girl, who is a wonderful, engaging child, but we'd shove her out the airlock sans spacesuit.

Sounds like a good time to park a muddy truck with the windows up in front of his house, then turn it around when the first side is clean.

In most places that have adopted the national standard code, the max allowable unrelated people is 4 or 5. I don't know how they enforce that though????
