It's the holiday season - like it or not.

Tsuru picked the theme this month, "Tacky Displays."

Rules: You must be the photographer, one entry a month, and try to make the image a recent one.

The winner gets bragging rights and picks February's theme.

My coworker's cubicle display. Someone tried to draw a mustache for the little guy on the glass. I tried to align the mustache properly but alas it was a bit off :p

I call the photograph: "Chinese Hobbits".

Wow, I love this shot. Been staring at it for a while. The man is obviously homeless, or likely so, but you've managed to catch him in a very Regal pose. He reminds me of an old world European Santa Claus. I find this shot very fitting for December during the worst recession we've see in our time. Well done! Excellent shot.

Yeah, I'm not going to be able to better that one. Please tell me that's not in front of your house.

Nah, that's Darrell's house. He's mah cousin, he's also a roadie, it figures.

(BTW, I must confess I am not the original photographer, but it was to tacky not to use as the bar. Beat that for tackiness.)

I like the added touch of the chickens and cow, with the flamingos in the background.

Can't decide which one..CBad...I didn't post the Gorilla Santa into this thread before, just posted in a different thread earlier./
IMHO, the gorilla is tackier than the dog.

Side notes: azncarbos' picture is amazing, but I wouldn't dream of considering it a "tacky display".
The photo Daspydyr posted is the epitome of the contest theme, but Daspydyr already fessed up that the picture was taken by someone else.

Looks like it's a two way tie for gold between Tsuru and Junkyard for December.

January's vote will be its own thread with the thumbnails again. I promise.
