Do you guys have any suggestion to pad up the folder soft bag and still easily fold the bag into a small portion ?

In some situation, carrying the folder in my soft bag seems to be a good idea but I often end up with a bruised hip and lower back carrying in my folder shoulder bag. Thanks.

I got nothing. Even when I used my Giant Halfway, I rarely actually folded up in the bag. Instead I figured out a way to roll it while folded. Worked a lot better for me. I only bagged it when forced to due to crowded trains or the doorman wouldn't let me in the building.

My soft bag has been a big waste of money. When I went on Maryland light rail and AMTRAK out to Cumberland, I only needed to fold the damn thing to take it on any train at all. The bag had the big disadvantage that I couldn't just roll my folded bike along. I had to carry the f-ing thing every step of the way. And there is some d*ckhead company out there that wants fools to buy an actual cover for the unneeded bike bag, in case it is needed to cover the rest of the bike. WHICH WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

what makes you so angry duende ?
lighten up will ya
get trash bag if you need to cover the biike , its small , cheap , and you can use it as a trash bag if it becomes dirty.

for the folks who like a nice bag to store the bike and occasional carry i in it ,,,, a niece piece of foam works real well .... obviously you only need one side and only some part of it....
I found some old memoryfoam piece and it works real nice ....

Good idea, brakemeister. I can stitch a small memory foam strategically where the folder usually stab me . Yet , still able to fold it into a small item .

Duende, I find the soft bag quite useful , occasionally. Have to slightly modify my bag so I can carry the it using my shoulder though.I no longer have one arm longer than the other . :)

I didnt carry my bike in its bag much. Just on and off the bus. I would leave the zip open a bit. So I could hold the bike frame securely in my hand. Not letting it sway about on the straps
