so, i really dig frames with the curved seat tube and head tube...

what companies make (made) these? i'd love to have one. does anyone know if they generally cost more than standard track frames?

rossin, gardin, 3rensho, cinell, spectrum, walker, daccodi, raleigh, huffy, corima and the list goes on. I have a gardin that I have yet to build. I'd say if you see one buy it. because they are kind of rare since the geometry of tt frames has now changed.

is the ride fairly comfortable, or is it just torture on wheels? i definetly enjoy looking cool, but i'm not sure how far i'm willing to go for it.

The whole point is to get you down as far as possible for aerodynamic reasons. Also though this may sound silly I have yet to take my first ride on a tt bike but I have stood over the frame and it doesn't seem that bad.

there's a really pretty daccordi on the oldskooltrack site that gets ridden on the street, so i imagine its livable.
