If it's any consolation I started a thread about these wheels a while back when I was looking for some. The LBS owner is on a team that is sponsored by American Classic and when i held one of his 29er wheels I was blown away how light they were. Brand new from that shop i could have gotten a set for about $600. They used to have problems with the hubs "blowing up" but in the newest design it is apparently fixed and don't have any problems. If you could find a nice used set for around $300 I would go for it. I'm still looking for some but don't have a job except to troll this place apparently.

Such technical requirements...black with white lettering, that's so important in a set of wheels :rolleyes:. Why these particular wheels and why are you having so much trouble finding them? I would've used the let me google that for you, too, but c3 beat me to it.

You cant get these much anywhere new and the white ones are ugly as sin so, I put it out there. Simple. It worked and now they are on my bike.
