Hello all
Planning on a long tour in Europe next year and am seeking advice on tyre width. We (tandem) will be fully loaded for tenting and will be pulling a trailer. Assume that 10% of the time/distance will be on unsealed surfaces, paths/tracks involving sand, mud, potholes, large grade gravel and stones. But no mountain off road stuff.
Your experience and advice on tyre width (and wheel size if linked) will be valued.
