Northern California - Anyone interested in building a frame?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've signed up for Tim Sanner's one week basic framebuilding class in Palo Alto the week of January 4-8. The class is 11:00 - 5:00 M-F, and there are only two students per class (I'm one; Tim is looking for a second). The cost is $800, and you leave with a lugged steel frame you've built yourself. Materials for your frame are included in the $800.

Here are some details:

One of his recent students blogged his experience:

I'd do it, but the job would get in the way. You retired guys are lucky. :)
