does anybody kno any thing about the k2 tirade 6.0? i was surfing the web and i came across one and i really liked it a lot. i went to mtbreviews and read about it and they said it was a great bike and all but they all payed around 1700 and i cant find one for below 2500 can any of u guys help me out? also any additional info would be great

We just got a Medium Tirade 5.0. (Same bike, but one step down in components.)

Killer ride. The bike is beefy as anything I've ridden. I only did some parking lot test riding. I'm probably going to get a chance to Demo it, since the mechanic assembling it (NOT ME!) put a chip in the top tube paint.

It rides nice, is pretty balanced, and is typically heavy as are most FR bikes in this category. The components are great for the money. I'd much rather have the 6.0, but the flat matte black of the 5.0 makes me want to get it and upgrade whatever I break.

My ONLY complaint about the 5.0 is that it comes in a 3 chainring configuration. WHY? The 6.0 has a dual with a bash guard. Both the 5.0 and the 6.0 should come double with a bash guard. The 6.0 should probably also come with a shiftable chain guide. But I'm picking nits at that point.

If you need/want a Medium 5.0 with a tiny chip in the top-tube, let me know. I'm sure we could box it back up and ship it to you. We'll make you a deal (due to closeout season and the small chip!). PM me if interested!
