anyone know if a Shimano UN53 will work with it ?
also will any brand chainring work with another brand if they are both like 130mm ?

Depends on the spindle length Sora double takes a 110 and the triple a 113. BCD is the important part. Pinned and ramped shifts better with STI.

ok I'm new to this sort of thing ( been riding sense like age 4 but just stock 1 and 10 speeds )
I just got a Sora Crank and am put it on and older bike, up grade from stock :)
got the Sora cause I can alway put it on another frame later over buying a one peice replacement
for current frame 'Schwinn Continental'
