Trek 2005 model year 7000 7100, 7200, 7300, 7500, and Navigator 50, 100, 200 models have dramatically different women's step through designs. with thick CURVING downtubes that accept threading of brake cables internally and a curved TINY, TINY "top/step" through tube. They look much like a classic cruiser and IMHO are ugly beyond belief. I have yet to see an online pic but my dealer has them.

Really a big change for 2005 and it will be intresting what people think. IMHO the 2004 women's step was more attractive, but perhaps it wasn't as strong.

I wanted to get a Nav 100 for my wife and had looked at an '04, but when we went back to buy, all the '04s were gone from all of the LBSs in the area, so she ended up with an '05. For her riding level, I actually think the bike is pretty cool looking -- very open and even easier to step through. She's upgrading from an old Sears 3-speed coaster-brake type bike that hasn't been ridden in 10 years or more, so even the Nav 100 was a revelation now that she's getting used to it.

I tried looking up the TREK web site but didn't see anything different with the 7200.

the website has no photos of the women's frame for '05, which is standard for the entire line including the 7200.
