Going shopping for a suit in the morning. Need one for interviews and hopefully the same one will work for any weddings I need to go to soon. But, if I have to buy another, I'll have the money by then.
I'm thinking charcoal/dark gray two piece. I'll get a lighter three piece later for daytime summer weddings.

I am not sure that spinning is the thing for me but it was a good workout. Since my son's swim lessons start next week at the same time it is irrelevant.
I suppose I could find another class.
I'm going to give spin class a try in January. What did you not like about it?

I enjoy going places and the workout was odd. Stand up. Sit down. Adjust the tension.
However, they were minor complaints. I do not think I can make up my mind unless I have another class or two.
Like most workouts it is as hard or easy as you make it. I was soaked in sweat and my legs were throbbing at the end.

I bought a suit though. They're friggen expensive. $520 for the suit plus tie/socks/belt/shirt. Jeez. And that was one of the lower end suits. The suit alone was $350. Crazy.

I got one final ride in today.:) My total logged distance by bike this year is just over 7,200km. I also got slightly sunburnt as it was fine and warm.:D

So, I baked cinnamon bread today. It filled the kitchen and the house with the loveliest smell.

Because of his gut though, it's kinda hard to tell if they reach all the way up to his waist, or end near the top of his thighs like biker chaps. Either way, I doubt his manner of dress would impress a potential employer unless Flatballer is applying for a job at a leather bar.

Matt just finished hanging the kiddos bikes on the bike wall. There are 8 bikes and a ton of biking gear and equipment in our little apartment. With the trainer set up, it finally starts to feel like home. :p

Happy New Years Day foo! I went for a swim at a beach with some friends because it was a nice hot 28ºC. Being slightly less than normal I chose to bike the 25 odd Km there. Up and over a 8-10% grade hill. I got the lovely smell of fried brake pads on the decent trying to keep my old Mercian to only 50kmh.
The swim was very nice.:D I then biked back home the long way up and over another hill. I didn't enjoy the steep first part of the first hill or the horrible headwinds in the last 5km home.
I need either lower gears or more practice riding a road bike up and down hills. My shoulders, neck and back are fairly stiff. Time for a spa bath and some whisky and honey liqueur afterwards.
