you still feeling like you got hit by a truck? or better?
My neck is still sore, but not nearly as bad as it was. The rest of me is feeling pretty decent except I think I caught a cold. :P

Cleaning up around the house with the aggressive 3 month rule.

Will this be used in the next 3 months? No? trash it!

PS: Body parts excluded of course.

Looking at bike stands.

Have any of you used: Delta Design Michelangelo 2-Bike Gravity Rack or Racor Gravity Bike Stand

I'm trying to find a sturdy, reliable bike stand to store my fixed gear and road bike. Any advice?

I've got the Delta Michelangelo 2-bike rack. Works pretty well. Mine likes to sit a little off-center, but it still holds the bikes up, they're just angled towards the wall a little. They're really sturdy and I don't worry about bumping them or anything.

Then I go my girlfriend's place for dinner and play Xbox with her kid.

I haven't been in to work since Thursday (we'll not mention the frantic texts I got before I was discharged). My buddies are spreading a rumor that I have had sex augmentation surgery.

Well... I am well caffeinated but that never stood between me and a good nap.

:)

Have been on a cycle of 4 up and 4 down for the last week because of the pain... can't really sleep much longer than this and decided to pull an all nighter since I was actually feeling pretty good.

Did some sewing, cleaned the kitchen, and am am just waiting on the chicklets to arrive so I can take them to school and then we'll see about getting a little sleep.

Mornin' Tude! How you been?

Very good :D - well except for the fact I seem to be trying to get rid of my right pinky, starting from messing up the knuckle a while ago and then attempting to cut it off via rocks glass a few weeks ago. Have to go have knuckle x-rayed - doc thinks it did not heal right as I have pain and can't extend fully - :( might do a re-break.

But other than that - I've been quite busy, and happy. :)

I always find that getting busy on something helps... during the school year I see them every day so it is not as hard.

Got up early this morning and made it to the gym for a change. Managed a good 30 minutes on that torture device known as a treadmill. Then I consumed some horse feed (oatmeal) and now I'm ravenously looking for a caffeine jolt....must be time for some coffee.

This week appears to be the kick in the ass I needed. I'm kind of excited about our first lab in chem. It's finding the freezing point depression when an unknown substance is added to a known substance. I like chem. It's freakin' hard, but I like it. :D

I prefer the ones where you mix two or three substances together, then run like hell, and tell everyone else to do the same. :innocent:

jsharr made a recent post that was right on the money. He suggested that people like consistency in products.

Candy makers know this, which is why reeses cups are stored for a few months before they are allowed on stores' shelves. If you ever had a fresh one, it would redefine the taste and it would be impossible to do that on a consistent basis.

Yesterday, three cases of Reeses PB cups came into my house. They are less than two weeks old.

Om nom nom.

Finally got all my sidewalks cleared to the concrete... was gonna throw caution to wind and tackle it myself but a fellow came by just as I started and said he'd cut me a deal and do it for 1/2 his usual rate of $20.00.

What would have taken me all day and F up my back even more than it already is took him about an hour and I paid him the full $20.00 as it really saved my day in more ways than one.

This guy now has a new regular customer and when I asked him how much he made doing this he said it could be as much as $300.00 / day and that he prays every night for snow. Said he had been laid off from his construction job and had been doing this instead.

I really miss being able to shovel snow like I used to... I found it to be a rather enjoyable activity and one hell of a good workout.

Rather than some ugly $5k plus tax bill, I even get a refund this year. Celebrated by going to our local sushi bar, where I can into my ex-wife and her new husband. He's stopping by this weekend to bring me some cigars. Life is good.

I used to have an agreement with my accountant that my refund or payment due was never more than $300. But it's been very difficult to calculate, what with the divorce and also losing the last dependent. I'll still take a reasonable refund over a $5,700 tax bill any day.
