Foo - Whatcha Doin'? part 4.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Interesting. That's kinda young.
No kidding. And considering that my great-grandmother is still alive and well at 95, I'm planning to be around at least another 64.

Spending V day alone with a bunch of tools and a scruffy looking old bicycle... but now it's time to go home, clean up, and share my day with the love of my life.

Mexican Coke in the glass bottles is the best cola around.
Local Singletrack 1: Me 0.
Still fortunately I cushioned the bike and prevented it suffering too much damage. It got slightly tweaked handlebars and a small tear in the saddle. I was still able to ride it home.

We used to only get CNN and Woot. Now that I have access to almost everything, I have little time to surf.

Life can be a beach that way. Speaking of....wife is flying down to the beach this week....if all goes well, I'll be putting this place on the market by end of the week and she will be moving down there after the kids b'day in 2 weeks.

Is your kid staying with you until she graduates?
Living by the beach is not all it's cracked up to be. When I lived in Australia, I spent a lot of time walking my dog along the dog beach, and cycling along the bike paths. There were pro volleyball tournaments to watch, pro surfing events to watch, and triathlons to watch. All those beautiful women in hardly any clothes... Yeah, terrible thing.

Yep....I've already been looking up bike routes there....found one that looks like a nice 42.5 mile loop.

The boy is gonna have to start figuring out how to make his own breakfast. His first words to me this morning were, "Where's my bowl?" He also said, "Where's my spoon?" and "You put this liner in and I'll do the other one." There was no asking involved, just demands... Sucks for him...
It's snowing, I'm ready for classes, gonna study some more art for my test on Thursday. I feel like I'm getting caught up, we'll see...

We're working hard on pleases and thank yous, etc. They spent the weekend with their dad and their cousin. Their cousin is an only child and spoiled rotten. Apparently, they tend to pick up some of her habits when they go over there. I was about ready to lay the smack down on the girl last night...

Friends, cousins, schoolmates, kids they meet at the park......they will all influence your kids. After a while, its merely a contest of who can outlast the other......and as the saying goes "Age and treachery will always overcome youth and determination". :D

Actually ran into an old friend I used to ride mtb with this morning - he's the acct rep for Cannondale for several east coast states - he's always on the road with his truck of goodies. And one of the faculty here stopped in and was talking about her son - he's acct mgr for Felt for east coast and several mid western states. She's going to bring him in here one of these days (ooooo laden with goodies I hope ;)) when he's here - as he's always on the road too. Oh and she received a nice Felt roadbike from him last year for her birthday. Nice!
