Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Just stuff yourself in a big box and call the guys in brown to deliver a package to Canada.
I am being shipped out via Air Canada in a week and a half.

Knowing my luck I would end up in an unheated cargo hold.

But I'm used to living on the beach in Australia. Even the Canadian that sits next to me said it was cold this morning.
HTFU, Hackman. You're an American. Leave that Island behind.

Are you angry because you got called a man? I even corrected that poster, but didn't post a pic of you. And I don't care who you are, one degree is freakin' cold. Especially to you NorCal wussies.

I'm not upset with him, how was he supposed to know? Thanks for correcting him though. a gentleman you can be (sometimes).
I just don't get why having a custom ti for the same price as an off the shelf carbon ( ESPECIALLY if it was discuss with fitter/doctor/builder) is the same as getting off the shelf with different size components.

I have my first Final exam today in Physical Anthropology. Sounds hard, but I'm the least worried about that final.
Monday = Latin and Sociology. Ewww.
Today I consult with a law student about how to divorce my ex husband even though I can't locate him, and some other crap. Is there some God of Divorces i can make a sacrifice to?!?
I would love to have DJ as an Xmas present. :D

A custom Ti frame for the same price as any carbon frame is a bargain. The ride quality and durability can't compare.

Well apparently it "wasn't necessary". I tried other bikes and the LBS's were losing patience trying to fit a bike to me that would allow me to ride pain free. I wasn't even going to argue with the postes. No matter what I was going to say, they figured any bike can be fitted to me. I know other people have back issues but I wasn't going to risk being paralyzed again on a bike with a geometry that doesn't suit my needs.

There is nothing about the fit of your custom that probably couldn't be resolved with some headset spacers or stem length. But by going custom, you get the exact stem length you need for correct handling, without having to compromise by going longer or shorter to fit you to the frame. Does that make sense?

Yes that makes sense but the chainstays were shortened, the top tube was slanted more and the headtube is taller. Plus he put that cute little chain hanger on there as a surprise.

We finally had our first snow last night. I'm staring at all of an inch. :P
I saw the ski hill the other day. It's man made. I laughed my ass off.
Goof afternoon Foo.
It still hasn't sunk in that I'm done. I'm sure it will come January when everyone starts school. Starting next week I begin to work on my graduate school application for a Master in Social Work. Between now and then, I'm going to relax. Tonight, I'm going bowling. Tomorrow, going to a party (heh, I haven't been to one in a while). Saturday, might be going to another party for an uncle or to a holiday party with the beau. Sunday, going to play cards with friends.
Man, I miss riding my bike. It's kinda hard to do so with the streets covered in ice or snow. I guess I'm going to be riding on the trainer through out the winter.
How is everyone doing?
