New to the forums and MTB repair...
I need to replace (due to theft) the fork and headset on my iron horse desperado 2002. I still have the headset cups/races(?) on the frame, and am trying to work out what headset was on there, so I don't have to change the cups. The component list says WTB momentum, and I am guessing that is a WTB Momentum Comp headset.
Would these cups be compatible with the WTB Momentum "C" cups?
I am thinking of getting Mantiou Axel Elite forks. Should I get a different headset, since after the forks are cut to length, I may not be able to change to a different headset. It was fine before though.
Any comments welcome : )
