I just placed an order with Nashbar for several items that were recommended here:

-Cateye Mity with extra long wire for the stoker

-ATOC locking skewer for my Thule rack

Also, a couple saddles since I took credit on the saddles provided by Co-Mo.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions! I'm too lazy to look up the appropriate posts so you'll have to figure out who gets the credit :D

Here's some valuable buying advice: On the order page, there was a spot for a promotion code. I opened a new window and typed "nashbar promotion code" in Google. After checking a couple links, I got 10% off by entering "W193" in the box! Two minutes of looking and I saved an extra $20

Our Speedster should be here in a week and I'll be sure to give my initial impressions and some photos!

Thanks for the tip. Looking forward to seeing that new speedster photo. I also want to thank Mark and others for their help. We have really enjoyed ours since January, but finally today took a photo. Here is our "new" Tosa after the ride this morning. Ahhh.

O.K. what a sorry picture.... I am not very computer literate. What is even funnier, is that spec of an avatar. If someone wants to give me a lesson on how to make a decent avatar from a photo I am all ears (eyes). Also how to get a bigger looking 100KB image of my bike....

Well the important thing.... Thanks for all the good advice on the forum. The bike is great.

Hey Murray,

How long did it take to get the Speedster. Our dealer gave us the 6-8 week story, just wondering if that's correct.

Man, and we're only going on week 4. :(

We ordered it on 6/11 and my dealer said current orders are 8-9 weeks so you may have to wait awhile :( When I ordered my car, it took 3 months, that was a long wait! It's funny how anxious you get when the clock starts clicking for real.

The timing is great for us...I'm currently suffering a little TDF hangover and finding it a little harder to get myself on the bike. The Speedster should be just the ticket :D
