General Cycling Discussion - trek wsd road bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I am 5'1" I currently ride a 50cm Trek 1000C. It is to big. I was measured and have a 71 inseamd and need top tupe of 49.5. I'm looking at a Trek trek wsd. The 1500wsd does not have the adjustable reach shifters, so I'm thinking about the 2005 2100wsd. Anyone have any comments on the Trek WSD road bikes?undefined

My wife rides a Trek 5200 WSD and used to ride the 2300 WSD. She loves the WSD. They fit her so much better than the regular bikes.

I found that I was in between two sizes of the Trek WSD. Like Goldilocks - one size Trek was too big, the next one down was too small. Luckily, a Cannondale R1000 Fem was just right! The moral of my fairytale - if you're not comfortable, try a different brand. I was convinced I wanted a Trek until I tried the Cannondale.
Thanks for the info, bike to be shipped on Monday. I do need a suggestion for a second water bottle since i live in southeast Texas. It gets really hot.
