Glad the clerk's injury is non life threatening. He'll get caught soon enough. Witness plus they know what car he got away in. He'll get what is due him.

Each year the neighborhood is getting worse. The police caught the guy today! Its to the point I am feeling un-safe after dark here.

Where is this in relation to Emerson. I use to work there '98-02, just trying to get an idea of where it was. Florissant was a little intimidating then. But I don't remember any shootings.

About 5 miles north and west, close to the 270 and 170 interchange. The area around Emerson, would be a bad place to live. It is worse than it was in 02, maybe it is the economy...but it is on a rapid downside.

Thats 'cause you didn't hear about them on the news, crimes and shootings are everywhere, just that the news media airs a very low percentage of the shootings/crimes that happen in nicer areas, got to keep up appearences for potential victims.......I mean buyers! :thumb:

I grew up "south of the tracks" in Phoenix. I left in '76 and don't ever want to live looking over my shoulder again. Sad thing is that the thugs seem to be moving to higher rent districts.

True statement. A lot of teenagers nowadays are misguided. Young people seem to be the ones committing these types of crimes around in this area...my area.

Very true statement! Kids do a bad thing, you go to their parents to let them know what they did and you quickly find out just who it was that taught them.
It's sad but there are some areas of Philly that I don't go to, and I was born and raised here! :twitchy:
