Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Clean, Classic, Sharp Looking Bikes

Help me answer a question for a friend. He wanted to know what is the best looking bike. Knowing the forums everyone will have a different opinion, and knowing him, he likes clean simple designed things I was hoping that the collective knowledge will be able to guide him in the general direction.

So please post links to bikes, photos, or websites that are, clean, classic and sharp looking.
No excessive decals, colors or logos. Gears are always welcome.

There are hundreds of threads with pictures of bikes that people think look good. Why don't you search around a bit instead of asking everyone to repost the same photos.

I think if you are looking for classic bicycle look with classic lines, there is only one option. I see this bicycle everywhere. I think it is made by Heywood Jablome.

Yeah, cats help, awesome. I didn't realize that this was to much to ask for. When the bike porn thread rolled around it got thousands of responses, easy if you like to lust huh. I never once asked for a consensus on the best looking bike only some directions to start looking. Yes I could search the thousands of threads and hand pick 50 but that would not help my friend, it would only help me. I have my opinion on what looks good, I wanted to help him in the right direction.

I think you should quit dictating wht your friend should like and let him decide for himself.

I know what my friend likes, and the reason that he asked me is because he thought I would be able to answer his question. Turns out that I cant and that is what I am asking for help with. If you are to dense to understand that? maybe I am in the wrong place. Was my post to confusing for you guys?

i think the biggest issue was.. (at least for me) I really don't know what you (or ur friend) is looking for. Clean, classic, sharp, yes. But it's quite vague. Price range is a great place to start. But it seems like there really isn't really a limit. I'm guessing he doesn't want any aero stuff coz u said classic? So like lugs? there is this thread (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?606687-Classic-looking-lugged-good-quality-thin-lightweight-steel-frame-sets-or-bikes) posted couple days ago about "classic, lugged, good quality steel frames." There's a bunch of stuff there. Or the bike porn thread? Or.. maybe post a few of the 50 u already pre-selected so we'll have a hint of exactly what u're going for?

Try Wabi Cycles (http://www.wabicycles.com/). They have steel in blue or teal, Scandium in orange or black, and lugged in red or a champagne color. The steel and scandium 2009 models are on sale. Personally, if I hadn't just gotten the steel one in blue, I'd get their lugged one in champagne. Maybe next year.
