i dont like the stubby bars. and i dont know what else. something just seems off to me. like its trying too hard to be cool or something

Has anyone on this forum tried out a District yet? I saw one at a shop and was thinking of test riding.

the lance branding really ruins it for me.

i prefer thin-tube steel frames on fixed/single gears as it is.....but this just looks odd.

That bike costs an arm and a leg, can't go fast, can't go long distances, can't handle anything offroad, can't do tricks, is not adaptable to bad weather, is a thief magnet, and can't even be comfortable. Its a worthless bike, but I suppose a light useless bike is better than a heavy useless bike because its easier to move outta the way.

I think they failed to hit the mark with this one and it's target customer (super rich people) It needs ceramic disk brakes because it increases the cool wow factor. Regular brakes are for the peasants.

It is as adaptable to bad weather as any other bike, front fender attaches to down tube, rear fender attaches to seat post, I don't know what else you would need.
It's probably just as comfortable as any other bike in the world. Seat, seat position, handlebars, bar position are the keys things, this bike has them all and they can be adjusted or replaced as desired.
This bike is worth more than your intellect based on your last post.

Only thing that would seem off is the cheap a** pedals, but I suppose this bike is for the rich guy who asks the bike shop for there most expensive comfort bike to store in his garage, not to actually ride regularly.

Ok but back to that crankset. Can I get one with a regular chain ring?

it's a standard 130bcd crank. All you would need is to change out the belt specific ring for a regular chainring. The bb will probably be off though cause a belt won't be running 42mm chainline.

There are an aweful lot of qualifiers in your arguments. Seems to me like you are just into the black and yellow theme, Mr. Stryper.
