I will be in Oxnard between Christmas and New Year's eve and I hoping to get in some riding while there. Any suggestions for shops that rent decent road bikes?

Google these:
1) newbury park bicycles (giant, etc.)
2) ventura bike depot (specialized bikes)

both have good selection for sizes.

My in-laws live there, and riding along PCH and the hills between Pt Mugu and Malibu sure beats riding the rollers in the basement here in Wisconsin!
