I have Suuntour components on my road bike with a Suntour crank. I also have some older Suntour pedals with toe clips and straps. I want to get some new clipless pedals and new shoes. I found some good deals on Shimano and Time brand pedals. Are the threads all standard? Will they fit the Suntour crank?

I would take my bike in to check, but they are mail order pedals.

My friend Mike has full suntour group on his Miele and rides with me daily (6x2 gearing) and he has Look pedals from about 15 years ago. My shoes clip in fine and vice versa, they obviously haven't changed anything.

Goto a LBS and try the different pedals if you can...I have SPD's on my mtn bike but am very happy with my LOOKS (I was goin to get Campy pedals but one ride on the cheapo looks and I was sold)
