Anyone has experience with the Marin Fairfax bike? they look pretty decent and for the price, comes with Carbon forks! :)

Anyone know how heavy is this bike? I'm guessing around 25lbs given there is no disc brakes and it's rigid forks.

I bought one about 3 weeks ago. It's my first bike in about 30 years, just getting back into cycling now. I like it, but am still getting the seat and handlebar positions dialed in. It is fairly light for a hybrid, but I haven't weighed it. It has a nice ride, easy to get going fast and it feels pretty solid. The 28 width tires are just about right for road riding. They have a bit of tread and feel fast but secure.

Brakes and gears work fine if they are kept adjusted properly.

So with only 4 or 5 rides so far I think it is a good bike for the money. And the carbon fork is a nice feature at this price.
