Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=150397083255&Category=98084&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D1

It looks really new and the paint is sexy.
but I really don't know how much fork out for this.
Anyone know much about softride bikes to give me a good estimate? Much will be appreciated.

Research them if you plan on racing. They're not universally legal by the rules.

The softride is not UCI legal, so UCI sanctioned races are out. They are legal in Triathlons though so you can use them for that. They are also very comfortable to ride and are very unique looking if you are just looking for something different to ride. The Rocket beams are known to fail however. It looks like he has a reserve set at $765 for just the frame, fork, and a beam. If you look around you can find a complete bike for about that much. I do have a Powerwing and it rides awesome. It has whats called the "classic beam" which is supposed to be less prone to failure. My suggestion would be to look for a better deal.
