I'm building a new wheelset and have an 8 speed Exa Drive Cassette that I intend on using. I have the freewheel and the cassette but can not figure out what size lock ring I need. Can anyone help?

A 8 speed hub takes the old 26mm thread diameter, not the new 27mm. In each thread size there are two models, one for 11T cogs and another for 12/13.

I'm assuming that you are using an old 8 speed hub?

DaveSSS: Thanks for your reply. I have an early to mid 90s 8speed record hub. So, from you message, I assume that I need a 26mm thread, 11T lock ring (I am using 11-21 cogs).

Thanks for your help.
