There's a bunch of old threads on BF that claim Miche hubs can take any standard ISO threaded cog. I tried it with my hub, an older model (without "Miche" printed on the flange), and it doesn't work. An EAI cog threaded on about 2 rotations and then it started very obviously binding.
I have the special carrier and cog, so I'm planning to use that for the wheelset I'm building up, and just see how it goes. This post is mostly a heads-up for anyone interested in the hub. I've seen pics on velospace of Miche/EAI setups but I have no idea how they got the cog on. Maybe it only works with the newer models?
But does anyone know if there are Italian-threaded normal cogs? I googled but couldn't find anything.
