Every year I con some friends into going on a late night bike ride to look at the Christmas lights. Then we go to my house for warm beverages.

I know this is corny and lame (but fun) so I bet some of you can come up with some better ideas....

Live in a small town in middle of nowhere...I see all the Christmas lights by bike every time I bike home :D. Although, it would be fun to deck a bike out in festive lighting and ride through town...hafta figure out a way to make that work.

Instead of just looking at lights, be the lights :) One year when visiting friends in Ottawa we decorated all our bikes (including a tandem, and some assorted "weird" bikes) with Christmas lights powered by portable UPS batteries. Then we went to look at Christmas lights at the parliament buildings. More tourists were photographing us then the parliament buildings :)

Get the LED's and use batteries. I have a wreath with lights on my large truck that plugs into the battery.:D

Why not. The biggest bicycle club in Arkansas has an annual ride to go look at the Christmas displays in Burns Park followed by a trip to the local Irish pub. :thumb:

There is an Avenue of Lights thing in one of the local parks that I love sneaking into. The cars go through at 5mph anyways and it's much more fun to bike through it for the better field of vision
