Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Anyone got a rec on Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheels?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I am looking at buying some new wheels for my road bike and I was wondering if anyone has any comments on the Mavic Ksyrium Elites. I am 6'4" and weigh 240lbs, around 230lbs in the summer. I don't race, but do long rides and need something that will hold up to my weight. Thanks!
I have about 1500 miles on them with no problems and I'm 260

I've got the 2006 or 2007 models, weighed 222 when I bought the bike at the end of May and put 2,200 miles on them so far with no problems at all. As true as the day I got them. They seem bulletproof to me.

I have the 2009 model and your weight and mine (241lbs) are the same. These are great wheels ! you will noticed how good these wheels are as soon as you ride up the first hill with these wheels on your bike. You will actually feel yourself accelerate going up, at least I did. As AV8torjim says, "As true as the day I took them out the box". I love mine!
Thanks for all the comments. I was worried that the lower spoke count wouldn't work, but it seems as if ya'll have given them a good test and they are holding up well. Was thinking about having some wheels built, but may stay with my original decision of the Mavics!
