I'm installing a new Shimano 10 speed chain on my road bike. I took out a few links initially and connected the chain using the special pin. Discovered the chain was too long and I needed to recut the chain to remove 2 more links. I cut the chain opposite the location of the first special pin per Shimano's instructions and reconnected using the other special pin. My question is: will 2 reinforced pins on the same chain compromise the strength and duralbility of the chian? Seems alright with Shamano but I would like some advice from some of you experts. After all the key word here is "Reinforced". Thanks!

Installed properly you could have a chain where every pin was a reinforced connecting pin. I'm about to just that when I gather enough extra pins/links.
