or is it the same stuff?

I found fish oil to be too runny, and therefore, a bit tricky to apply

I have never used fish oil but frame saver is easy. Comes in a spray can with a plastic tube. I spray it in every available hole and put masking tape over the vents afterwards to keep it from running out. Wait overnight and it will be ready to go.

fish oil only stinks for a couple of days.

One of my house mates thought the smell was an electrical fire, and I came home to find him running around, freaking out about the place burning down. :)
