Hey, all.
I'm currently living in Tarzana and am going to move to Silverlake in January. I've been riding my cross bike in the Santa Monica Mountains and have found bike paths extending into Balboa Park and toward Van Nuys. Over the holidays, though, I've been wanting to go on some rides from Tarzana (near corner of Reseda and Ventura) to Pasadena and back. Anybody know routes? Or a site where safe road routes are posted?

Mike

Just goofing off and found this route. I have always found interesting rides on MapMyRide. It helps if you have a GPS, but not really necessary. This route might give you some ideas, not quite to Tarzana, but in the Valley. Good luck.

Different Spokes of Southern California also has a nice route going from Griffith Park (near Silverlake) up La Tuna to Pasadena, but their route slips aren't online.
