As a new decade is around the corner, have you thought about goals for next year? The next five years, or even the next decade? Do you have a resolution you can't wait to start (and keep going)? Let's hear them!
My 2010 Goals:
- To complete at least one century
- To ride 75 miles a week
- To make the switch to clipless pedals
- To continue to enjoy and be passionate about the feeling on the road, no matter what 2010 may bring!

1. 5000 miles. Booya!
2. Do some organized club rides.
3. Hit 205 lbs
4. Be more kind and patient with all the idiots that I have to deal with on a daily basis. And, if necessary, find a better place to hide the bodies if I backslide a little bit. Hey I'm only human!!

Work less, procrastinate more

The new century starts with year one, so why doesn't the new decade? By my calculations, the new decade's still a year away.

:thumb: I tried that argument with the turn of the century. The year 2000 was not the start of the new millennium, 2001 was. Nobody bought it then, either. :(

This year I will ride my first century, start and finish my first triathlon, and take my first bikepacking trip.

Ride my first century, commute in the rain, and, oh yeah - be more tolerant of those not blessed with my looks, intelligence, and humility!

Ride my first century, log 4000 miles or more, and more importantly drop 60 pounds (which may be the stretch goal for 2010).

I had a good year in 2009, covered 5050 miles and I lost 30 lbs. I'm in the 200-208 lbs range for the first time in 25 years.
I'm going to resume commuting in February after a 15 month sabbatical. If the 2010 goes well, I should cover 7500 miles and get down to my stretch goal weight of 180 lbs. My other goals include 12 century rides.

Ride two centuries a month, complete a triple metric century in one day and double century in one day, lose 30 pounds and complete the Cherohala Challenge, Assault on Mt. Mitchell, 3-State 3-Mountain and Six Gap centuries

What, and watch the divorce rate and depression escalate? I care too much for my online friends! That's me - caring, breathtakingly attractive, smart, AND humble. I amaze myself.....or I would if I weren't so humble.

My goals for 2010 are to just try to become more healthy... That will mean losing weight working on endurance and just trying to become more healthy in general. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired... Change must happen, and I must be the one to make it happen.
