Hi all, just bought an old Bianchi cheap for a fixed speed project but before I tore it apart I went curious what bike it is and if it is a better idea to try to fix it up and use it as it is. It seems rather light, the components are mainly Campa but the hubs says Shimano VIA and the rims are steel. Ignore the handlebar and saddle which is a temporary fix. There is a sticker saying "tube Bianchi calibrati" but a part of it is missing.
Thankful for any help

It looks like a low end bike from the early 70s. Three fixing bolts for the chainrings, stamped frame ends, clamp on derailer hanger and spoke guard on the rear wheel are all indicators of entry level bikes. Don't know the model.

Thanks for the help, it rides pretty well though so I think IŽll just pick it apart and rebuild it.
I think it is from the late 1960s. The front derailleur is either a Gran Sport, indicating early 1960s, or a Valentino. The Shimano hubs are not original. The frame tubing is plain gauge carbon steel, ala Peugeot UO-8. The crankset is a Campag. Gran Sport, I believe also from the 1960s. The bottom bracket is Italian-threaded (fixed cup unscrews anti-clockwise).

Thanks, since it is not in that good shape I will strip it and rebuild it to a fixed
