Boy, if it weren't even more off-topic I'd comment about how that comment makes no sense. On the one hand, it sounds like a liberal bashing wheelers, but on the other hand liberals would never make a judgemental comment solely based on non-PC stereotypes.

(wheelers are a minority too)

Some would be flattered by that comment. Likely, an equal number would be insulted. And I would gather that others think it would be silly to universally connect political affiliation with such a broad group in such a homogenous fashion.

I'm sure these guys would be amused at being called "Republicans". Why don't you go ask them about their political affiliation instead of guessing? I understand airfare to St. Petersburg, Russia isn't that bad these days.

Republicans? People who do drive off road are fighting for the same land use rights as Mtn. bikers, most support and conform to the ideals of Tread Lightly, and most love the environment.
