I hope this isn't too dumb a question, but can somebody explain the differences between the Specialized Roubaix 27, the Elite 27 and the Comp 27? I've studied the specs on their website and it's not clear to me. Given the price differences, $1410, $1850 and $2600, respectively, there must be some major construction differences that I'm not experienced enough to determine. Thanks!

27 and Elite 27 are steel, one with 105 and the other Ultegra ... Comp 27 is carbon with Ultegra ...
Print each sheet out and compare - I'm sure there are other differences as well ...
wheelsets are a big difference too (I thought they were AL/Carbon stays&fork?)

DOH ... you are right ...
I just bought a base '04 Roubaix, and the frames on the base and the Elite are Identical, only diff is the 105 vs ultegra. Frame on base and elite are ALuminum (NOT steel) with CF forks, seat post, and chain stays.
I am very happy with mine, but its only been ~100 miles so far
Wheelsets on the Comp CF have been changed from Ksyrium Equipes to Shimano 540's as well.
