I'm about to buy a BB off ebay to replace my broken one. The thing is i'm switching to ISIS instead of sqaure. My current BB length is over 120mm but with considerable spacing between the crank and the shell. The BB i'm wanting is 113mm. Is there a way to tell what length BB a bike needs? I don't want to spend the money and then find out my chain ring is scrapping the frame.

Depends on the crankset that you are using. Of course, since this is for a fixed application you can probably go a little smaller or bigger to get your chainline just right. Check this out:
