Hi I am new at this and looking for a bike for my daughter. I have been looking at trek & giant entry level bikes because of a tight budget I am not sure what too buy it looks like either a trek 820 or a giant boulder any comments or ideas?

Need more information.
Is this her first bike, where will she ride, why will she ride, commute to school, work, just for fun?

She has been riding bikes since she was 5...but all have walmart specials. She will be using it more for fun and riding around the neighborhood and maybe some dirt trails but mainly on paved areas.

Cool. I wouild let her pick out the bike.
Riding is 10% bike, 90% daughter.
