Hi Everyone! I've Been Ejoying Reading The Forum For A While And Just Joined Today. I Just Did My First Two Women's Sprint Triathlons And Was Estatic To Finish In The Top Half Of My Age Group Since I Don't Consider Myself Athletically Talented. I Rode A Specialized Crossroads Hybrid Bike For The Triathlons, Pedaled Hard, And Averaged 17mph. Now I'm Looking To Buy My First Road Bike. I'm Considering A Specialized Sequoia Elite For The Comfort Features And A Less Lean-over Riding Position. It's About $1,000. Any Guesses As To How Much Mph I Might Pick Up On The Bike Switch? Any Feedback On The Sequoia As A Reasonable Bike For The Money? Any Other Suggestions As To Good First Time Road Bikes?
