Try the Mile High Flea Market at 7007 E 88th Ave, on the outskirts of north Denver about 10 miles from downtown. It's been a while since I've been there, but it is a big sprawling affair. you might get lucky.

try to find a goodwill that does auctions. i'm not sure about denver, but there is a goodwill down here in colorado springs that has auctions everyday. you just grab a bike or pile of bikes. the auctioneer will come around and give your stuff a starting price. most people don't bid much and they never want road bikes so no one usually will bid on your stuff. last week a i scored a complete guerciotti with a 6 speed 105 group and sewups for 5 dollars. that is rare though. most of the stuff is fuji, peugeot, panasonic, nishiki sort of stuff.
you could also check out my friend scott's bike shop called salvagetti. the address 313 w 11th. it's inbetween speer and cherokee. speer is a big road in denver. he sells new stuff such as iro, and colorado frame builders ground up & blacksheep frames, but also salvages old but decent bikes. he gets them powdercoated, puts on new tires, cable and housing, bar tape... then labels them as salvagetti. he even gets these brass headbadges made.

oh yeah, there is going to be a big midnight ride on saturday night. some moonlight or midnight something or other. i forgot the name. it's an organized ride but i really don't know the details... there will be a group of us meeting at that shop around 9ish. the ride starts at midnight and goes all over denver. i hope i can get a ride up there. i'll be with two guys in bunny suits riding ground ups. i'll probably be riding my gunmetal iro, celeste pista, or gold matsuri...

Good calls, Isotopesope. Scott does have some good stuff in his shop. Another place to try is Cycle Analyst on Pearl and Exposition. Track/fixed friendly and lots of used stuff. The ride this Saturday is the Moonlight Classic http://www.moonlight-classic.com/ and should be fun. I'm planning on stopping by Salvagetti before the ride.
Terrapin04 I might have an extra bike if you want to ride Sat night. Don't know your size but email me if interested.

oh man, you and your friends should just wear tents on the ride. that way when someone asks you how the ride went you can respond: "in tents." ba dum tah... that's too bad you're going to miss the ride though. i hope you enjoy colorado.
