Road Cycling - My IF Ti Crown Jewel is almost complete!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well, I just finished most of the build on my new IF Ti Crown Jewel. It would pretty much be completed if I hadn't screwed up and left the rear derailleur cable in the housing when I was cutting the housing....oops. Cable is now about 6" too short...*doh*

The saddle is not in it's permanent position, the stem and handlebar are just temporary. I am waiting on my Kestrel Pro EMS SL carbon bar to be returned via warranty.

The bike is built primarily with campy record. It has an FSA Carbon pro crankset and FSA titanium bb. The wheels are American classic hubs with DT Swiss RR1.1 rims. I had a little problem with the chain hitting the rear seat stays so I had to put a washer on the outside of the rear hub to space the frame out just a hair. There is a fix for this problem but I can't remember what it is, guess that gives me something to research tomorrow.

Anyway, here it is. Opinions welcome.

I will post more pictures once it is completed.

Thank ya. I will be taking it out for it's maiden voyage in about 5 hours.....weather permitting.

Oh yeah, just weighed it. With the heavy bar, stem and egg beater pedals it weighed in at 16 3/4 pounds. Hopefully I will have the new carbon bar and stem on it and speedplay pedals in the next few days. That should drop it down under 16 1/2 pounds. That is until the computer and cages go on it.
