I will be heading up GMR on Saturday morning with a couple buddies so keep an eye out as you pass me on the way up or down if you are around. I will be starting at the base at 9:00am and hope to get all the way to the Village. I have only done GMR once to the fork and that was last year. I am in much better shape now and should have a pretty good go at it.

After the first of the year I will be doing it at least once a month in training for the Ride Around the Bear.

I am riding a blue Giant and should be wearing red Hammer Nutrition gear. Say hey if ya see me.

Here is my Garmin data from the ride. I feel like I rode it pretty well.

Thats pretty fast in my opinion. Im going to try GMR this upcoming week. Considering I am a lousy cyclist all-around (suck on flats, suck on climbs, suffer with a bit of headwind even on flats, climbing for more than 5 miles gets my legs burning up etc) I really dont know at this point whether I can start from equestrian park and finish at the village. But Im going to try even if it takes multiple stops and going at snail pace.

I did this ride for the first time this morning as well. I left the bottom at around 8:30AM and it took me about 60 minutes to get to the maintenance shed. It felt great! I'll definitely try to come out to GMR as much as possible. Next time I'll try for the Baldy loop.
