yeah, what bands do u guys like to listen to, im just bored

in a bmx forum kinda wierd, linkin park

i like mostly rock from the 70s

led zeppelin
pink floyd
jethro tull

thats pretty much it i have the linkin park meteroa cd but i ahvent listened to it in awhile. i cant stand rap, all the songs nowadays have no meaning, its all about being gangsters, smokin, doin drugs, and have 20" spinners, and "ice" that weighs more then our bikes. its all BS. back when tupac was alive, it had meaning, rapping about how life is and how hes priviliged to live the way he does.

grant it, some 70s songs were about LSD trips, but at least hippys were fighting for something.

there not all rock like the classic bands but there ok

I like a lot of variety in music when I ride. Some days it's Blink or Offspring, other days NIN, other days SOAD... but then there are the mellow days when it's old Tears For Fears or maybe really light with Air Supply or Simon & Garfunkel.

More often than not I ride to a mix CD that has like 100 different songs on it of all sorts of genres, then just put the player on random and enjoy whatever comes up. A little Dave Matthews followed by Poison... and then Rage Against the Machine? Works for me! ;)

lots of punk no use for a name, gob, pennywise, dead kennedys, nofx, the smalls, snfu, dry fisted, all state champions, the list for me is pretty much endless...

why is punk rock the music of choice? im more into classical rock myself. alot or most of those bands ive never even heard of.

Classic rock got me into rock.. I love classic rock.. just listen to mostly hardcore now.. I dont listen to punk..

Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, System Of A Down, The Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix, AFI, Limp Bizkit, Queens Of The Stone Age, Coldplay, John Coltrane, Foo Fighters, Return to Forever. I will listen to anything but country and religous music. Both of which I respect though.

i found myself listening to one of my favorite bands Chicago!!! which is outstanding becuase i love them. and massive attack. it's a different band everyday

Ill listen to anything other than rap, pop, and country ... but when im riding i prefer some hard punk to get really amped for a huge jump or something u have to feel the music thats why i usually listen to pennywise when i jump there really hard and really fast it always gets me goin hard ... but when im just hang out with my friends its anything from emo to classic rock it all depends on my mood

I can stand some rap.. what do you listen to it on when you ride? Like an mp3 player? I'de be too afriad to smash whatever I was listening to music on to use it.

some times people bring radios to fdr which is pretty nice. It is nice to ride to music.

I usually used an old cd player that was cheap but worked and rarely skipped over the dirt jumps i was doin but now my friends and i bring a radio or something so we all can listen its alot better

A lot of interesting choices here. I think that whatever makes you feel good when you ride is what counts. Hey, has anyone seen those necklace MP3 players?? There like 130 bucks, and they can hold something like a gig. They are the size of a quarter?!? I don't know where to find 'em, but I saw them somewhere..

i listen to avenged sevenfold, atreyu, from autumn to ashes, and all the stuff like that. when i go i take a cd player and my backpack with some loud speakers that i have that hook up to it.

I'm sure everyone is "stoked" on atreyu blasting from your back.
