Quick question, does the Ascent horizon rack (currently on sale at nashbar for a wallet friendly price) require braze-ons on the at both mounting points or does it clamp on to the seat stays? My old schwinn had a rack that used a clamp for the upper mounting point (not at the rear axle) but that may be long out of style. My current bike has braze-ons at the axle but no where else. Doesn't need to be that rack in particular, just happen to be the one I was looking at.
