I'm currently wearing a cheap rubbery jacket from Nashbar; the only saving grace is that it fits. It's time to upgrade and I'm looking for a source that has a good jacket in Tall sizes.
Thanks for any help...

My Hincapie XXL fits well and I'm [proportionally] bigger then most. It's a 'I'm going places fast' fit not a "I'll wear my down jacket under it" fit though.

I bought a wind breaker at a Big and Tall shop. It is for golfing but it does a good job for biking too. It is a 2XLTall.

I'm 6'3" ~250 with a long upper body, somewhat athletic build, usually have to buy jackets/shirts in tall sizes, and have a Pearl Izumi Elite Barrier jacket in XXL which fits very well even though it's not a tall size, pricy but the only thing the LBS had in stock that fit. If PI sizing is uniform then I would think that any of their jackets in an XXL would fit up to about 6'4" (you don't say how tall you are). The Barrier is a great wind jacket and water resistant in at least heavy drizzle but I can't say I've used it in a downpour or anything (I'm a wimp),not sure if it's what you'd call a real rain coat. I think the PI Vagabond gets good reviews in the commuting and touring forums though.

The Showers Pass Touring jacket fit me in a XL, though I'm buying XXL to layer beneath it. At 6'4" 260 lbs, long torso and longer arms (81" tip to tip), I was very pleased to fit in a XL.
