This is one of my absolute favorite routes. The country is beautiful and the hills are just hard enough. 54 mile, 4900 feet. A good climbing ride. Pace on flats will be 16ish, saving energy for the hills (you'll need it).
Leaving at 9am from the parking lot across the street from Karen's Bakery in Folsom, though I might ride to the start. If you want to do that, we leave from my house at 8am.
We may lunch break after the 2nd climb at a Subway that's on route.
