Hi from Albany,NY. This forum is pretty cool, that;s why i deided to introduce myself. As you can see this is my bike. (Please don't throw rocks at me.) I found it in our basement about 3 months ago. This bike needs some manor adjustments. And I like it. I ride it sometimes. No long distances, just for fun.

Hey, what else do you have in your basement? Can I look around?

Pretty nice "find."

Welcome - you ought to take some longer rides, that bike will do you well. Does it fit?

does it really a good bike? i don't know anything about it. I think it's pretty old. Do you think it's touring or sport or performance road? I have no idea . :)

P.S. Fork has a dent and when I don't hold bars, it turns to the right.

Hard to tell in the picture. What is the brand name? Couldn't read it.

How do you shift it?

Fork is replaceable.

You might want to take it to a Local Bike Shop and get their evaluation.

I think its a Sears 10 or 12 speed from the 70s, with shifters on the stem, and suicide auxiliary brake levers. Its a lot lighter than modern dept store bikes, so its a fun bike for riding distances at a respectable speed. Get the fork checked - a replacement should cost $20.

Your eyes are a LOT better than mine!

Seems likely you are correct.

Still, there may be a lot of miles left in that bike for fun riding.

It's ten speed bike. On the frame it says Random SportLite. Shifters were on the stem they broke. I removed front derailleur to clean it and satisfied without it. need new shifters though. I can't finf old-stule shifters. All i can find is roa shifters+brakes for no less than 100 bucks.
P.S. I don't know if this bike is worth work on it. I need front and rear derailleur and shifters.. plus bar tape :) and probably new chain lol
