Northern California - NorCal East, New Years Day ride?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anyone interested in a ride on Friday? No idea on route, it'll depend on who's interested. Maybe a low key, social ride on the ARBT. Then folks can join in for as much or as little as they'd like. Up to about 68 miles is easily possible.
Open to other options.
UPDATE: Looks like the Lake Loop. Meeting in VacaVille at the clock tower at 9am.

Hey Joel, I'm FREE! So how about telling us how to get to the clock tower? Is it the start spot on the ride that you linked?

I have no idea if the start is there or not. Do a mapquest to "town square, vacaville, ca" that should get you directions. Glad you can make it! Looks like my car is full, you could follow me if you like. Rolling out a little before 8am.

If you Google Pure Grain Bakery, Main St., you'll find the clocktower adjacent to it.
Take 80 west, exit Davis St., turn left onto Davis, follow until it bends left, go down 2 blocks and it's on the left. You can go around the block and park in the public parking lot behind the clocktower.
Looking forward to a fun ride!

Gotta love streetview! See you there.
Looks like it'll be damp, so come prepared! I put on the fenders and I'll bring along a rain cape (and a spare rain cape). And I must be prepared for the flat that I'm sure I'll get, as I always get one when I ride with Chris and Deb.

Despite the weather.com saying it will be 30-50% chance of rain, I just hope it doesn't. I don't have a jacket! :O

That was a good ride. Just what the Doctor ordered. Hey Chris, I got your message. Sucks for me - I left my phone & wallet in the car! Good riding with you all.

Haha, I am sure that you're right. As they say, your hardest critic is yourself :)

Gah; a complete BF-101 fail!
Repeat after me "Gosh, I had no idea my quads (or guads) would be so prominent in those pictures"
